The instruments seen here in 2005 where a mixture from different manufacturers and a little "long in the tooth".
In particular they did not provide NMEA 0183 data sources and where impossible to integrated with new systems (plotter, autopilot, gps, etc).
As part of the 2010 rewiring process, the instruments where replaced with Raymarine ST60 units, which at that time were "state of the art".
The through hull transducers were replaced at the same time. see Instruments & Electronics for further information.
The ST6001 autopilot control head (right) was added later when the Autopilot computer was upgraded.
To make space, the ST60 log/temperature display was relocated to next to the electrical panel in the main cabin.
At the same time, the engine instruments (in the starboard cockpit locker) were replaced to show oil pressure, cooling water temperature and alternator output voltage.
The illumination on these instruments comes on with the steaming light.
